Time for lunch

We sure have your favourite animals

Unhappy dolphins smile, as they slay

Cute chip-monks, with wise old faces

And foxes, that hide from man, all day

Dopey koalas oblivious

That a cuddle’s on its way

A pretty butterfly waves goodbye

Then off to eat, then kill, her pray

Yet, both wolves and boar, ought not to ignore

Their cousin’s fates, soon became clear

Dogs join the family unit, to help…

Get through, a billion pigs a year

Dolphin sings and dances, in the sunshine

Jellyfish recolonises, down in the dark

Octopus with nine brains, shaping nonagons, Nein!

Fuck me! Here comes baby shark

All the animals, come out to play

We show up, and they run away

To children, what else can we say —

But, either sorry! Or hurray!

We tried and tried, to change our ways

Told God to make us good, and prayed

Then tasked robots, to manage our day

But sorry, we must be on our way

Made laws, to try to restrain ourselves

Grew banks, to lend, and spend, our wealth

Intuitions, responsible for our health

But sorry, we don’t feel too great today

And soon we’ll finally be on our way

Poyekhali! Off we go, hurray!

To the heavens, without delay

And all the animals, came back out to play

It takes time to build allegiances

Form bonds, and agree to bunch

That’s only with your own species

For the rest, it’s time for lunch

Infantile curvature

There was no nothingness

There wasn’t any… err… anything

Non-existence does not exist

There’s never, ever, been nothing

And if God exists…

Outside the bounds of time

Then at no time does he exist

If he exists outside of our reality…

Then doesn’t exist in reality

And won’t be missed

I may have worked it out

Proved God was nothing! Throughout

No gain, no pain, just a claim, we entertain

Subtracts all suffering and doubt, for nowt

Conservation of information

Is consciousness actually just a field

Of fundamental thourticle fluctuations?

Or just a mindless accident…

Of biodigital… evolution?

The fifth fundamental force

Bless his soul — finally arrived

But consciousness, like gravity…

Simply refused… to be… unified

Blinded…

All measurement denied

So all its actions… implied

But it’s there — Somewhere —

Despite it being self-derived

You can’t see consciousness

But by God, it can see you

A new force that needs fear and faith…

To make its science true

Observing its own effects…

On our mental behaviour

Another hidden judge perfects…

A loop-hole. Sound familiar?

Heh, mysterious ways?

God may work

But it’s dice, that are at play
